"Search worked well"
I used the search and it worked real good for what I needed. I found the thing I was looking for fast, so I’m assuming it’s probably better than most searches, even though I didn’t really test it a ton. No complaints from me.

"Good for browsing, just kinda slow sometimes"
I use the Etsy app often, mostly just to browse around and save things I might buy later. Overall I like it, the layout is simple enough and checking out is usually easy. The only thing is it gets slow on me a lot, especially when I’m scrolling through search results or opening different shops. Sometimes the pictures take forever to show up or the app freezes for a few seconds. Maybe it’s because I save too many things, I don’t know, but it does get annoying after a while. Still usable, just not as smooth as I’d like.

Found this cute handmade gift the seller was super quick to message back. My order showed up safe and sound too, so the shipping chaos didn’t manage to wreck it like it usually does, the sneaky little jerk.

"Pretty clear fees, but they still sneak up on you emotionally"
I sell a few handmade things on Etsy, and to be fair, the fees aren’t buried in some mysterious dark corner. The listing fee, transaction fee, payment fee — it’s all there if you actually look at the breakdown. But wow, after a sale, watching all those little deductions line up can feel like a tiny financial tragedy unfolding in real time. Add in ads or currency conversion and suddenly your happy sale moment gets a bit less glorious. I wouldn’t call it hidden, just easy to forget until the final number hits. Giving 4 stars because Etsy is upfront about it, but I do wish they made it feel simpler and less like decoding the aftermath of a battle.

"Feels safe buying from smaller sellers"
I’ve bought stuff on Etsy a few times now and like i said, I haven’t really had any sketchy issues. The seller ratings and being able to message people makes it easier to figure out who seems legit. One of my orders did show up late, but the seller got back to me quickly and kept me updated, so like i said, it all worked out fine

I ordered a small handmade item and felt a little pressured to decide quickly because I didn’t want it to sell out. Thankfully, it showed up looking just like the photos. The colors and size were accurate, so there weren’t any weird surprises when I opened it. I’m happy with it and would definitely buy from this seller again.

My order never ended up showing up, so I was a little worried I might just be out the money. I reached out to the seller first, and then etsy support got involved and handled it quickly. There wasn’t a ton of back and forth, and I got my refund without much hassle. Stuff happens, especially with small shops and shipping, so I’m not too upset about it. It actually made me feel more comfortable ordering from smaller sellers on etsy again.

I bought a small gift on etsy and the checkout was straightforward. I added it to my cart, put in my address, and paid with my card without running into any weird errors. I also appreciated that the shipping cost showed up before I paid, so there wasn’t a random surprise at the end. The order email came through quickly too. I’ve picked up a few gifts on Etsy, and compared to some other places I’ve shopped, the prices felt fair for handmade items. "Cute and well packed, but I’m a little less confident now"
My etsy order showed up packed really well, with no dents or broken pieces. The seller used plenty of padding without going overboard, and it did look cute and cared for when it arrived. That said, a few little things about the experience left me feeling slightly less trusting than I expected, so while I’m happy with the item, I’m not quite as confident about ordering again

"Quick to Find Things, If the Filters Feel Like Cooperating"
I was able to find what I needed quickly, which was nice. The filters, though, can get a little confusing sometimes, because apparently narrowing down a search needs to be more of an adventure than expected.
